TEXT: 1Cor.15.57
“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. “
Victory through Christ means winning the battle over the devil, sin and the world is in our Lord Jesus Christ who is our victory and not in ourselves. It means our victory is guaranteed as we depend and express our absolute faith in the finished work of Christ. He had settled it all by His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. He did the fighting on our behalf that is why we are not fighting for victory but from victory.
Our victory through Christ also means that for us to live victoriously we must stay connected to Christ. John.15.4 – Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. The moon does not have its own light but only reflects the light of the sun. As long as the moon is rightly positioned to the sun, it radiates the light from the sun. So are we. As much as we stay connected with Christ, He reflects His victory in us. Therefore, all we need to do to always triumph is to abide in the Lord. Stay blessed in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS
Thank You Lord that You have settled it all by Yourself for me. Holy Spirit open my eyes to the victory that Jesus Christ has secured for me in Him and to apply myself to it that the grace of God be made manifest in me. By faith in Jesus Christ I say no to defeat and failure in every area of my life. Christlike ministries and families breakthrough every gate of hell before you and advance in Jesus name.
