TEXT: Eph.6.11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil. (NLT)
As soldiers on the battle field, we have our military kits to defend and protect ourselves and also to launch attacks. These God’s armor that the Holy Spirit has recommended are to enable us to stand and withstand the forces of darkness. A. The Belt of Truth- This represents the truth you know. Always seek to know the truth about God, yourself, environment, and the enemy. B. Breastplate of Righteousness: This is righteousness by faith in Christ. Every true child of God doesn’t live anyhow. They live right with the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit regulates their conduct. C. Shoe of Evangelism- Witnessing the good News to People is a Weapon in the Amory. D. Shield of Faith- Faith in the promises of God, the leading of the Holy Spirit and in the finished work of Christ. E. Helmet of Salvation- Your salvation is your covenant relationship with God through obedience. F. Sword – represents the Word of God in you. The Word has to dwell in your heart by reason of reading and meditating and so when you declared it, it becomes a sword. As followers of Jesus Christ we are to ensure that none of this armor is neglected in our daily life so that the enemy does not catch us unaware.
PRAYER POINTS
Thank You Lord for bringing to my knowledge the whole armor as designed by the Holy Spirit for me. Holy Spirit help me to be diligent enough that none of this armor is neglected in my life.
Holy Spirit reveal to Christlike Assembly members the battle strategies that will nail the forces of darkness.
Lord make Your servant stronger and skillful in the battle field in Jesus name.
