“Look to the lord and his strength seek his face always”.
It is strange how people wait until they run into trouble before scrambling to seek help from God. Usually, for most of their lives, such people disregard God and His laws. They set their own principles and live by it. Then, when all they depended upon begin to crumble, they dump their pride, run to God and start weeping for help. We must not wait until problems arise before seeking God. The proof of our faith in God is that under all circumstances, at all times, we must never waver in obedience to Him. Our dependence on God must be total. Whatever He commands us through His servants must be done in faith. Therein lies the blessings of God. It takes humility to seek the Lord. Proud people don’t. we seek the lord in the place of prayer and reading the scriptures. God desires relationship and it can only be established through fellowship. David, the great king of Israel knew the value of fellowshipping with God when he cried “early will I seek you O’ Lord” Ps63:10. Please note that God is on the look out for seekers. He is not far from us Acts17:27. We must however come to Him by faith for without faith it is impossible to see God Heb11:6. Double mindedness will hinder us from seeing His face when we seek Him, it must therefore be done in total trust. Ps9:10
PRAYER POINTS
Thank You Lord that You are not tired of me. Forgive me for not seeking You as I should. Lord let Your grace and understanding abound in me to seek You always. Holy Spirit turn Christlike family to God chaser. Lord let not your servant be weary in seeking You continually in Jesus name
