SCRIPTURE : 1 Thess 5:17
“Pray without ceasing”. Many times, we pray over an issue and it’s like an answer is delaying in coming, don’t give up. Keep on praying. Do not let a day pass by without diligently utilizing the privilege of prayer. Make sure you pray at all times no matter the condition whether good or bad. PRAY! no matter how busy you are. Make your daily time with God a priority. Samuel Chadwick said, “The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.” One way that Satan keeps us from praying is by engaging us in so many pursuits that we hardly have any time left to pray. To prevent this, we must discipline ourselves to pray until it becomes a personal habit. Moreover, we must not allow anything to change this habit. Just like Daniel who made it a habit to pray three times daily despite his busy schedule as a high-ranking official in the Persian empire. He allowed nothing to change his praying habit– even a royal decree that outlawed praying to anyone but the king. Daniel 6:10. Beloved, pray at all times for yourself, family, church and mama. Make sure you pray in faith James 1:6. Faith is built through His Word so meditate on it. It will also feed your spirit well so you can pray with strength Luke 1:38. Effective Prayer is also Achieved when you lift up God’s Words back to Him so make Word Meditation a habit too.
