APRIL 12TH
SCRIPTURE: John 21:19 “As soon as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon and bread.” We serve a God of Host who knows all things and does all things according to His will. When Jesus called His disciples, He had prepared the fire and put on it fish and bread. He had it ready before He called them to the shore. In 1Kings 17: 6, we saw the Raven bringing Meat to Elijah by the brook Cherith at a time of Famine in the land. Further down in the chapter, we saw a widow woman picking sticks to cook her last meal. The Great Provider showed up for her and she never suffered the lack of the land. Through the pages of the Scripture, we see the Great Provider in Action. Space will not allow us to check them out. In all these circumstances, lets note some factors that made the Great Provider show up.1). All those who enjoyed Him, had a relationship with Him. Please enter a Covenant Relationship with Him now.2). They believed and obeyed.3). They acted in Faith and gave. All of them gave one thing or the other. We are encouraged this morning to believe our Great Provider. Obey Him by Faith and watch Him come through for you.
PRAYER POINTS: Thank You Father, for always being there to supply all my needs. Loving Father, please forgive me all my sin that can delay my answer to my prayer. Father, cause me to always look up to Jesus, my Great provider for all my needs and want. Christlike Family, we ask God for Strength to push on till answer comes. Good God, nothing will disqualify Your daughter and her family from Your Provision. Amen
