TEXT:
Dan.3.17 -” If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.”
To be delivered is to be rescued, to bring out of evil or trouble. The statement of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego in the Bible text makes us to know that God delivers from every trouble of life. He has the ability and capability to deliver someone from danger or evil. No matter how horrible the situation may be, He is able. We can see in that scripture how God delivered the three Hebrews from the burning fiery furnace. God is still the same today. He never changes if He did it for the three Hebrews, He can do it for you. At the end of the event, Nebuchadnezzar in Verse 29 testified “that there is no other God who can deliver after this sort”. There are some things you must note for God to deliver you from evil, which we can find in the life of the three Hebrews :
1) You must know Him. “our God” verse 17s
2) You must serve Him “whom we serve” verse 17.
3) Don’t be afraid of the situation “They are not afraid of Nebuchadnezzar or the burning furnace”.
4) Trust Him with all your heart verse 28 “…….That trust in Him….”
5) Have faith that He can deliver you.
PRAYER POINTS
Lord thank You for every evil that You have delivered me from. Lord give me the grace to know You more and to put my trust in You in every situation. Let me have more confidence In Your Word in Jesus name. Lord Deliver every member of Christlike family from every evil and evil works. 2Tim 4:18. Lord deliver your servant Pst (Mrs.) Odunayo Omotayo Joshua Ketiku and her family from every evil. Amen
