SCRIPTURE:
Prov. 18:15 “The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge”
Seeking knowledge is to inquire about something. The Power of Knowledge cannot be overemphasized. Today, we want to look at why we must seek Knowledge. We need knowledge to drive the God’s gifts and assignments that are committed into our hands. Your God's gifts can only function maximally based on the knowledge you acquire. From Hosea 4:6a "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me." We discover that lack of Knowledge can lead to destruction. You can actually drink poison if you can't read labels. God really desires that We Know Him. To have knowledge is to equip yourself with facts, information or awareness of that your pursuit. It is an evidence of prudence to get Knowledge. In fact, Paul's entire Pursuit in life is summed up in one Verse Philippians 3:10 "I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. Knowledge is power. When we seek knowledge of God, we will understand God's will for our Lives. We will therefore be able to live to please Him. The more of God we know, the more Confidence we have, the More Courageous we become. To walk with God Successfully, we must take some notes from the Instruction He gave Josh 1: Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do". Brethren let us make it a daily habit to seek knowledge through His Word. God is ever ready to reveal Himself and make provision for His abundant Grace for us all.PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for who He is. Appreciate Him for all the opportunities He has made available for you, your family and the household of Christlike Assembly. Confess your sins of slothfulness in the place of seeking knowledge for your growth in life. Receive Grace for Christlike Assembly and her members to seek knowledge for our spiritual growth. Father I pray for my Mother in the Lord Rev. Mrs. Odunayo Joshua Ketiku and her children, may they continue to grow in the knowledge of God in Jesus name.
