“Everything is permissible for me but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me but l will not be mastered by anything”
Knowing how to recognize what is important and what is not important enables us to matter where it is important for us to matter. It is not in everything we put our hands in that matter to God and our destiny in life. Successful people learn to focus on what's important. Have you ever noticed that you do not have the time for everything? God didn't call you nor does He want you to do everything. He has called you to do what He wants you to do. Our reward is in being where He wants us to be and doing what He wants us to do. His Purpose for our lives is Primary. There are a lot of things you can do that are not beneficial for you because God hasn't called you to do those things. Whatever we do is always based on our Values. The problem is that most people have not clarified what their values are. One of the secrets of Success is clarifying your values. Unclear values causes confusion which causes stress. Conflicting values cause tension, while wrong values create dysfunction, so it's very important to develop the skill of knowing what's really important and what matters. You must make up your mind to allow the Word of God dictate your values to you. God wants you to focus on things that are important. Do you live to please people or God? When you face eternity which one will be more important? Of course, what God thinks of you would be more important Mk 10:31.PRAYER POINTS
Father, thank You for Your Word of wisdom.
I receive the ability to be able to do Your will and know what is important.
I ask that You will make what is important known to me so that I can make it a priority and apply it to my daily life.
Give Christlike Assembly the ability to figure out what matters and to be able to prioritize them.
Give our Mama Rev. Mrs. Odunayo Joshua Ketiku and her children the wisdom to identify what matters in their life so as to build upon them. Amen
