TEXT: PS.100:4, 1KING 11:13,36, ESTHER 2:7,PS. 84:11
Praise gives you grace to enter His Presence. Praise is an avenue to have access to the presence of God. Angels are given the mandate to carry the sweet smelling sacrifice of petitions of our prayer to the Lord but when you decide to give the Lord a reckless praise, the Lord grants you a open invitation to His presence.
That reminds me of the story of a poor man who had nothing to eat and nothing to feed his children. He decided one day to go to the palace of the king to beg for alms but on getting there, the place was jam-packed with crowd as it fell on a festive day. He couldn’t access the king, but he was talented in singing praises/eulogy of people. He began to chant the praise of the king from afar, the king heard him and was impressed. He called him forth and honoured him immediately as one of his guard, gave him a house, money and lots more. Praise gives you the opportunity to see God and be attended to. Ps.100:4b says ….we will enter His court with praise”.
David was so graced that he never lost any battle no matter how tough the battle may look. And that’s what praise does in the life of man.
