SCRIPTURE : Judges 6:14″And the Lord looked upon him, and said, go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the midianites, have not I sent thee?” We can see in the life of Gideon that he really understood what it means to carry God’s presence. Verse 16 & 17.” And the Lord said unto him, surely I will be with thee , and thou shalt smite the midianites as one man.17 And he said unto Him, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest with me” After the Lord had shown him His assignment he still humbled himself and said he could do nothing outside God. He still wanted a proof that his God was the One truly talking to him. Don’t ever embark on any assignment without seeking God for a proof that He’s really in it. Confirm if He is in it or not. If someone goes without seeking God, he/she might go and never come back. The Consequences of going without God are grave. One might take a wrong step like Elimelech and suffer loss. You just have to acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Give today to Him now and ask Him to lead. Be ready to follow His leading.
PRAYER POINTS: Thank You Father, for the grace to be alive. I return the glory back to You. Father please forgive me for not always acknowledging You in all my ways. Father, anything waiting to spoil my joy of celebration is destroyed by fire today. satan, you are a looser and you remain a looser over this family today and forever more Amen.
