Prov.2.11 – “Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: “
To Understand is to grasp a concept fully and thoroughly while Discretion is the ability to make wise choices or decisions. In our text above, the bible says Discretion shall preserve you. This is our month of protection. God wants us to know that one of the forces available for Preservation is Discretion. You make choices of right association in Business. Discretion will let you know who you will do business with that will profit you, where to go, when to go out, when to stay at home. Understanding will guard you. It is the understanding of the Word of God that will prolong your life and bring you prosperity. It will guard you on what to do per time. By listening to the leading of the holy Spirit you shall be protected. Understanding makes you to stand out. You practically escape what others walk into. Be determined to get Understanding and Discretion. This is possible by reading the Word of God regularly. You meditate on it in the power of the Holy Spirit. Obey the Word and confess the Word. Note: When wisdom enters your heart and knowledge is pleasant to your soul discretion will preserve you, understanding will keep you.PRAYER POINTS
Lord I thank You for the understanding that You are my Heavenly Father. Lord help me to use my discretion rightly. Lord give Christlike family more understanding of Your Word. Lord increase the level of Your servant’s understanding and discretion in Jesus name. Thank you for answered prayers.
