Exod.12.13 – “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt”
God told Moses to order the Israelite families to sacrifice a lamb and smear the blood on the door of their houses, so that the angel of death would "Passover" their houses thus sparing them from destruction. The blood of the Lamb (Jesus) was shed for us on the cross of Calvary for our redemption from sin. We therefore do not need any blood other than the blood of Jesus to escape every evil. It is the blood of Passover for us "Believers". As the blood of the lamb worked for the children of Israel so also the blood of Jesus will work for us. The Blood of Jesus will shield us from all evils. Look at it, it was God that wanted to destroy the Egyptians but the children of Israel must not partake of the destruction. For the angel to pass over, they had to put the blood of the lamb on their doors. This is the dispensation of the blood of Jesus. For evil to pass us over, we need the blood of Jesus Note: For the blood of Jesus to answer, you need to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. It is the Blood of Redemption. Once the devil sees the Blood, he passes over so make it a habit to always cover yourself and your household with the blood of Jesus every day.
PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for the provision of the blood of Jesus, that was shed for us. Thank God for the salvation of your soul. I bring every member of Christlike family under the cover of the blood of Jesus for our protection throughout this month. The blood of Passover is upon the life of His servant Pst (Mrs.) Christianah Odunayo Omotayo Joshua Ketiku. Every form of evil shall pass over her and her family in Jesus name. Lord! help me not to take the blood of Jesus for granted. Thank God for answered prayers.
