ACCESSING THE WORD

10TH FEBRUARY

TEXT: Jer.15.16

“Your words were found, and I ate them; and Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.” (AMP).
Accessible means approachable, obtainable or understandable. In this morning devotion, we shall look at how to approach, obtain and understand God’s Word. The scripture above was a personal experience of Prophet Jeremiah and by implication should be experienced by everyone that is called by His name, that is in a covenant relationship with God. The scripture above shows that it takes personal efforts to locate God’s Word. Jesus said “search the scriptures”- John 5:39. You must daily look for the Word by regularly reading and meditating on it. You are under the obligation to discipline yourself to read and meditate on God’s Word. By so doing, you will find the Word. You eat the word in the place of meditation. Another way to access the Word is by hearing. That is why God’s people always gather together for worship. When we come together like that, we have the opportunity to learn at the feet of Jesus through the preached Word. 3) You can also access the Word by reading Holy Ghost Inspired books. You Must however open up your spirit to the Holy Ghost. Allow the Holy Ghost brood over the Word until it becomes real to you. There is the Spirit of the Word. Opening up your spirit to the Holy Ghost gives you access to the Word. He gives you Understanding and it becomes your Word. When it becomes your Word, it becomes your Possession. Amen.

PRAYER POINTS
Thank You Lord for connecting me to Your Word by the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, create in me the heart that hunger and thirst for the Word of God above food and pleasure. Holy Spirit, open my eyes of understanding to behold wondrous things out of God’s Word. Christlike ministry shall continue to accept the Word of God as the final authority over all affairs in Jesus name.
Mama Odunayo Joshua Ketiku shall not err from God’s Word in Jesus name. Amen.
