SCRIPTURE: PSALM 3 :3 ”
But thou O Lord art a shield for me my glory and the lifter up of my head”
A shield is a broad piece of metal usually used by soldiers during war to stop arrows or spears from hitting them. It is a protective weapon against the attack of the enemies. Shield means to protect, guard and defend. God protects every of His child that put his trust in Him from danger and harms. You do not need to be afraid of your enemies or bad news that has ravaged the world because God is committed to every of His word. He never sleeps nor slumber in the midst of any war. When the Lord is your shield no evil touches you, you will be helped. He also bestows His favour grace and glory on you and no good thing will be withheld from you Psalms 84 :11 The only thing that can hinder you from enjoying this benefit is sin. So today, run to Him and ask for the forgiveness of your sins and plead for mercy so that He can shield you from the wrath in the world. Obedience keeps you safe in Him so Vow to live in Obedience to every of His Instructions today.
PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for being your shield and for protecting you, your family and every Christ-like member from all harm.
Ask for mercy for every wrong that can rob you of this promise.
Pray for our mummy in the Lord and her children that they will continue to enjoy God’s protection all the days of their lives. Amen.
