Devotional for: 2ND MAY
TEXT:
Ps.67.5 – “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase, and God Shall bless us and all the ends of the earth shall fear him’’
Praise is directed towards God. It is a lethal weapon in the Spiritual Armory of warfare. This is because God inhabits the praise of His people. It is a spiritual weapon of warfare available to all believers. It is the principal key to see the wonders of God in action. if you give God high praise He will come down to your situation. When you praise God, He breaks protocol to attend to you. Praise gives you access to His presence. It is the key to victory. In our Scripture for today, we were instructed to Praise Him. When we do, God Responds by Sending Rain upon our earth which causes the earth to yield her increase unto us. Our Protection becomes sure when we are Thankful. He Secured Daniel in the den of lion because Daniel was a Praiser. Look at all his encounters with all the kings he worked with. He will always ascribe glory to God in heaven. He was so boastful of the Capacity of his God that he went on praying when he was asked not to do it. Praise builds your confidence in God. You can't deny your faith in Christ when you are a Praiser and He won't deny you either. So, what are you waiting for?? You need Increase and Divine Protection this month, don’t you? Using a song of praise to worship God. Praise Him for His loving kindness and tender mercy. Praise Him for the salvation of your soul. Praise Him for what He has done in Christlike Assembly.
