TEXT: JOSHUA 6:6-16, 1TIM.4:8, 3JOHN1:21, CHR.16:11, 1CHR.16:28
During praises, a lot of energy is involved both in dancing, singing, clapping or even doing some acrobatic display.
So aside from praises being a form of bringing the presence of God, it is also a form of bodily exercise. Bodily exercise promote a good healthy living. 3John1:2 says and I quote “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health.. .” To be able to serve the Lord faithfully, you need a bodily exercise in which your regular offering of praise to God can offer you without paying a dime. Read Isaiah 55:1-2.
To compass the city of Jericho round about three times is not an easy task particularly to the priest bearing the trumpets. Josh.6:4.
When the wall eventually fell down, they had gotten enough energy to slay the enemies of God.
Brethren, praise and worship to some people is a waste of time as most people will be seen either discussing or even sitting down not participating no matter how hot or powerful the session may be. That your dance, clapping or even rolling on the floor, shall be rewarded.
When you praise the Lord thoroughly from the bottom of your heart, you don’t only receive a miracle but enough energy both spiritually and physically which will last you for a while.
PRAYERS:
Worship the Lord in the beauty of His Holiness.
Give God the honour for the journey of yesterday even if you didn’t travel, afterall you took a step away from your bed……… a journey of a mile begins with a step……. so thank him for yesterday journey.
Bless his name for ordering our steps right.
Commit your ways into His hand for He will prosper it.
