10TH MARCH.
SCRIPTURE: Psalms 43: 4 -5.
“Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. Why art thou cast down O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise Him who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Altar is a place dedicated or separated to meet with the Lord. It is a place of consecration. It is a place of spiritual sacrifice and a power point to draw spiritual and supernatural strength. It is a place of covenant. It must also be a place of fire. David in the text above had the understanding of how important the place of altar is. When he was downcast and his spirit was disquieted within him, he knew that the only place to run to for joy and to renew his strength was the altar. You cannot praise and worship God on the altar and remain sorrowful because altar is a place of encounter. The purpose of altar is to worship God and learn more of Him. It is also a place to pray for yourself and intercede for others. Are you weary and burdened, distressed and afraid of life challenges? run to the altar for strength and encouragement, you will surely return with joy.
PRAYER POINTS
Lord I thank You for who You are. Let the altar of my worship give me strength and all my brethren in Christ-like Assembly and Let the altar of Your servant Rev Mrs. Odunayo Joshua Ketiku not lack oil in Jesus name. I decree Fresh Fire upon my Altar today in Jesus name.
