12TH MARCH
SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
To soar means to increase rapidly above the usual level. It means rising above disappointments and challenges. In the text above, we need the strength of God to soar. The key is to wait on Him. We don’t need to practice and train for countless hours. We just need to listen and believe in His words. We need to be alone with Him in prayer and be engaged in His business. God is ever ready to give strength to His people. Psalm 29:11. He cannot be tired nor weary. Hear Him in Isaiah 40:28-29 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength” Our God is infinite and all powerful. He is the Strength Giver. He loves us. He has chosen us as His own. He yearns for the best for us. He knows we can’t achieve much without His Strength so He gave the Antidote… wait on Him and as we do so, He renews our strength So that we can soar like the eagles. Wait on Him in the Word. Wait on Him through Worship. Wait on Him as you attend Spiritual Programs. Wait on Him Fasting. His Strength will come upon you.
