Devotional for: 5th May

Ps.91.1 – He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (KJV)
The secret place of God means the inner most presence of God. It connotes a state of a soul in his relationship with God Almighty. In the old testament you can approach the secret place of God by the blood of animal, but thanks be to God, for the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for us. This give us access to the secret place of The Almighty God. It is a place of refuge. It is a place of total safety; no devil can have access to the place (it's a place of deliverance and protection). You enter His secret place with praise Ps.100.4 - Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Also, with a pure heart Ps.24.4 - He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. As long as you know Jesus, you have access to His Presence. When you create time to fellowship with God through the study of His Word, you access His Secrets. The Secrets of God is with those who fear Him. Accessing His Secrets therefore requires that you fear Him. Psalm 25:14.PRAYER POINTS
Isa.63:7 Mention the loving kindness of the LORD and Praise Him. Father, i receive Grace to Enter Your Presence and Stay there. Let the fire of God purify my heart. I walk in Your Fear now and Forever. I decree You Are My Shield as I abide in Your Presence Continually. Thank God for answered prayers.
