TILL YOUR GROUND

SCRIPTURE:
Hosea 10:12 “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you”

Tilling is the art of preparing our land for seed, keeping the growth free from weeds which might hinder the growth of the crops planted. Tilling includes application of manure, plowing and cultivating the weeds to bring it to proper state of harvesting. The Scripture today is an awakening call by Prophet Hosea. An uncultivated heart will not be able to receive rain from heaven. It becomes a fallow ground loaded with weeds. We are to break it up. Remember that so many treasures are in your land. You must be hardworking enough to break it up and discover them. Prov 13:23. One of the ways recommended by Prophet Hosea is Seeking the Lord. Seeking the Lord is to seek His Will for your life. His Will is His Promises. Seeking God must be done in Faith. Our Faith in Christ Jesus makes us Righteous. Christ has been made our Righteousness 1Cor 1:30. When we seek Him in Righteousness, we gain access to His Mercy. He Responds in heaven by giving us the rain of Righteousness…the benefits of Righteousness are:-
1). You can never be forsaken Psalm 37:25.
2). It shall be well with you and you will enjoy the fruit of your labour. Isa 3: 10.
3). Your Children will escape evil Prov 11:21
4). You Are delivered from untimely death. Prov 11:4
5). There would be challenges but God will always come to your rescue. Psalm 34:19 Until you grow, you can't access the above listed benefits so tilling your hearts grows you spiritually.

PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for who He is. Appreciate God for every opportunity given for your abundant life and provision. Father give me the Grace to be focused on You and You only. Father, cause Your Words to be deeply rooted in Christlike Assembly and her members for fruitfulness. I pray for our Mother in the Lord Rev. Mrs. Odunayo Joshua Ketiku and children as they break up their fallow ground, they shall reap the Mercy and abundant blessings of God in Jesus name.
