Prov. 9:6 “Forsake the foolish and live and go in the way of understanding”
There is a path of understanding. It is a path of life; it is the way of outstanding and it is a path of growth. Understanding makes you to outshine, it gives you edge and places you above others. Understanding is very significant to growth, without it, one remains a babe in the field of life. It is what you know that determines your position and placement in life. You will see in the Bible that wisdom and understanding stand beside each other. Both are very important to one another, Pro.4:7 says "Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting, get understanding", i.e. as important as wisdom is, so also is understanding, therefore pursue understanding and lay hold on it, Why? it takes understanding to
1). manage and implement wisdom, wisdom is as good as foolishness if there is no understanding to implement it. Understanding makes Joseph to be outstanding in the land of Egypt. When he interpreted Pharaoh's dream, he was able to provide solution and manage the situation well, Gen.41.
2). Understanding channels your course and open door for you among the great. How do we come about it?
1). Pray for it, Jam.1:5,
2). Seek, Search and Pursue it. Pro.21-5.
3). Accept and be Sensitive to the leading of Holy Ghost.PRAYER POINTS
Oh Lord my God, I magnify Your Holy name. Thank You for this brand-new day.
Holy Spirit, I acknowledge Your power and Your leading, I commit this day unto You, lead me.
I open up the channel of my Spirit unto You, baptize me with fresh understanding.
Give me Grace into the deep mystery that is locked up in the spiritual realm, that pertains to my blessing.
