SCRIPTURE:
Psalms 127:1 “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it, except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain”
When Jesus is in your home, the devil has to flee and the presence of the Lord will draw everyone in the home to a place of repentance and victory. Jesus must be at the center of our homes if we will not build in vain. Putting Christ at the Center means allowing His Spirit to lead and direct the actions of every member of that home. If we will enjoy His Protection, we must allow Him to be our Master. Everyone must live in Obedience to His Instruction. Every member has a duty to another. Paul helped us by spelling it out in Eph 5: 22-31, Eph 6:1. Children are to obey their parents. Husbands are to love their wives as themselves. Wives are to submit to their own husbands as to Christ. Unless this is done, night watchmen may watch in Vain. The Following Actions will further make Jesus Comfortable in our homes:
◾He must be warmly welcomed John 1:12.
◾He must be given the run of the whole house.
◾He must be offered the best of all we have Mark 14:3.
◾He must be Made to know that He is a member of the family.
◾He must be drawn into conversation.
◾Our Gracious guest must be recognized and respected as divine host.
PRAYER POINTS.
Father, thank You for our home, and for helping us to live peacefully with one another.
Father, forgive us for not always acknowledging You in our daily conversation.
Father, when trials come to this home, strengthen us to trust in You for our Salvation.
Father, l pray that You protect this home against the attack of the enemies.
I pray that You will keep this Family safe both Spiritually and Physically.
