Devotional for: 6th May
TEXT:
Eph.6.11 – “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Take cover means to come under a shield or cover yourself for protection or safety from evil. The Lord has been so good to us He has being protecting us from our mother's womb up to this moment He did not allow the devil and his evil work to prevail over us Glory be to God. The Bible says in 1Cor 13:11 - "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." Now we need to take cover by putting on the whole armor of God as a soldier of Christ so that we may be able to stand in the day of evil according to Eph 6 please read from 12-17 WHERE TO TAKE COVER: 1) Take cover in the Word of God Heb 4:12. 2) Take cover in the blood of Jesus Heb 12: 24. 3) Take cover in the name of Jesus proverbs 18:10, Rom 10:13 Act 2:21 PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for His loving kindness and tender mercy over you and your family. Lord forgive me in any way I have taken Your Grace for granted. Lord give me the grace to put on the whole armor of God for my protection. I bring all the members of Christlike family under the cover of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I bring Your servant Pst Mrs. Odunayo Joshua Ketiku and her children under the cover of the blood of Jesus. Thank You Jesus for answered prayers. Amen
