SCRIPTURE: Psalms 147:7 (NIV)
“Sing to the LORD with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp”Gratefulness is to be thankful. It is showing appreciation to God. In Luke17:11-19, Ten lepers approached Jesus pleading with Him to heal them. Instantly, He healed them but only one came back and thanked Him in worship. The other Nine left without a word of thanks. Likewise, today, gratitude is far away from many believers. They tend to forget the goodness of the Lord. They take for granted the ways God helped them. As a genuine child of God, you need to be grateful to God at all times and allow His praises continually on your lips Psalm 34:1. Whether you feel contented with where your life is right now or you wish things were different, you can make the decision to act on the commandment given in the above scripture to arise and be thankful unto God. Thank Him with your song, dance and blow your trumpet to Him for He is good and His mercy endures forever psalms 136:1. What you should be grateful for?
1) For the gift of life and for seeing each new day. Acts 24:3.
2) For His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things Psa 107-9.
3)The wisdom and power given to you Dan 2:25.
4) For He is your strength, your help and shield Psa 28:7.
5) For all His benefits Psa 103:1-5.
PRAYER POINTS
Be grateful to God for the gift of life and all His benefit towards you, your family, the household of faith Christlike Assembly and our Mama. Ask that the Lord will heal your heart and cause you to make gratitude to God your lifestyle.
