SCRIPTURE:
Psalms 91:10 “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling”.
Our Focal Scripture for today is the Promise of God to those who have come to trust in His Love.
Evil is anything not good. Evil brings sorrow and sadness. Death is evil. Sickness and afflictions are evil. Evil is generated by the wicked one, our adversary the devil. He manifests through the wickedness of unregenerate minds that are full of envy and jealousy. The devil orchestrates disasters and evils in the World. In all of these, He Promised to keep us from all evils. He will not allow us to stumble. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is not man so He does not lie. He is the Keeper of Israel. Whatever He keeps is Kept. He has the Ability and the Capability to ensure that NO evil befalls us. We also have the assurance that it does not matter the Plague that ravages the land, it will not come near us. The Bible is full of Testimonies of People that were kept by His Power. Underneath us Are His Everlasting Arms. Deut 33:27.
How do we enjoy this Protection?
1). Be Saved by Accepting His Lordship over your life. Your Salvation will take your Spirit from the region of darkness to His Kingdom where Protection is guaranteed. Col 1:13
2). Study His Promises of Protection and Believe it.
3). Take Cover by Standing on those Promises after You have Obeyed them. Obedience Precedes Protection. 1 Sam 15:22
4). Lift up the Word daily before you step out. Declare it upon your household. Let it be on your lips continually. 1John 5:14.
PRAYER POINTS
Father of light, thank You for saving us from the evil that we did not see. To You be all Glory. I ask that You forgive every disobedience to Your Word. I declare I shall not see evil today. Evil shall not come near my dwelling place. I decree Your Protection over Your Daughter Odunayo Joshua Ketiku and her Children. Keep Nigeria from evil. Amen.
