SCRIPTURE: Josh1:9
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed for the LORD thy God is with thee.”To retreat or surrender means to draw back, to give up, it is to accept defeat. The moment you were born, you have initiated a fight with Satan, man’s greatest enemy. The battle becomes fierce if you decide to serve God through Christ. Satan hates man with passion and does not want anyone to serve God. Satan fights tooth and nail by using weapons of all manner of sin, depression, discouragement to stop you. Instead of losing the battle or throwing in the towel, rise up like a gallant soldier. Be determined to fight the devil to finish. This was what Christ did for us on the cross of calvary. He didn’t give up until He finished the work of salvation of mankind. You too can stand with God. How do we now stand against the enemies? 1)Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10. 2) Then put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11. No soldier goes to war without his armor, failure to do so will cause him to die in the battle field. 3). Finally watch and pray always and rely on the strength of God for you to overcome by faith.1John 5:4. 4). There is so much strength in the Word so study it hard. Jer 15:16.
PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for fighting your battle. Ask for strength from God that will help you not to give up in the battle field of life. Ask that our mummy in the Lord will not grow weary nor tired in the battle field of life. Father, baptize me with unquenchable thirst for Your Word.
