SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 41:18 “I will open up rivers for them on the high places. I will give them fountains of water in the valleys. I will fill the desert with pools of water. Rivers fed by springs will flow across the parched ground”
The Word of God in Romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". This was the fall of man in Gen 3 that removed the glory of God from man. Today's Scripture is God’s commitment to our restoration. He initiated it with the blood of Jesus that was shed on the Cross. What He will do for His own is what was captured in today's Scripture. The rivers He promised to open up is the River of His Glory. The Rain of what was lost in Eden awaits the hungry and the thirsty believer. Lets see what the presence of His glory will do first. 1). God's glory Will reveal your true state to you. In His presence, wrong motives and all manner of evils are exposed. Isaiah the prophet of God cried out "woe is me". God’s glory shows you what is missing in your Christian Character. It humbles you. His Glory pulls you down so He can mold you. Sometimes you weep and become slain in Spirit when the fullness of His glory comes down. People in meetings that are covered with His Glory are not able to move. The priest is helpless and God takes absolute control. llChron 7:1-3. God's Glory will humble every man. It is also strong and powerful that it makes a man to surrender. The glory of God in your life will promote you. It will cause nations to honor and celebrate you. You cannot be Spiritually dry when the Rain of His glory comes down. It is His Presence and no mountain or red sea can withstand it. The Glory of God puts you on fire for Him. This Morning, can we cry for More of Him? It is only our Yearning, our longing and our Thirst for Him that can produce the Rain. We don't want trickles Lord; we want Your Rain.PRAYER POINTS
Father, I thank You for the Glory You created and redeemed me for and I know that Your plans and purpose for my life in Christ have not Changed. Father, l pray that Your glory will rest upon me and l will become untouchable in Jesus Name. Father, Rain Your Glory and Your Power over Your daughter and her family in Jesus Name Amen.
