SCRIPTURE:
1Thes 5 v 18 “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”
Thanksgiving is the act of giving thanks. It is to gratefully acknowledge the benefits of God's goodness upon our lives. Hebrews 13:15 KJV "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name" This is the will of God for your life. A song says" count your blessings name them one by one, " It is good to make lists of what God has done in your life in-order to remind you of the wonderful things that the Lord has done for you. This will enable you to think in positive manner and shift your focus from challenges of life. When you render gratitude to God, He is happy to show up in every area of your life. You invite his presence and glory into your heart and soul anytime you give Him thanks. Giving thanks to God brings you closer to Him and it strengthens your faith. When you thank God from your heart you will never be held captive by the spirit of sadness or frustration as God delivers a thanks giver in time of trouble 50:14-15 " Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: [15] And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. 14-15". I want to encourage you to always be thankful to God for all His marvelous works in your life. As you thank God this month, He will turn around your situations.
