SCRIPTURE:
Acts.16.25 – “Around midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening Suddenly, there was a great earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!”
Prayer is one of the greatest assets of the redeemed. It is our communication link with God, our heavenly Father. Prayer is not just about communication, it is having the correct approach to communicating with God, because it takes praying right to be heard. Prayer is not optional for the believer; it is our vital covenant responsibilities. The Word of God admonishes us that we pray always 1Thes 5:17. When you don’t pray, your life begins to derail. Consistent and affectional prayer is the key to maintaining a high-flying Christian Life. This is our month of protection; you need to pray so you don't faint Luke 18:1 Purpose of prayer
1). Prayer provokes help from God Heb 4:16. Without help from above we are help intervention.
2). Prayer brings deliverance from affliction James 5:13.
3). Prayer enforces prophecies. Prophecies can only come to pass through a good warfare in prayer. It gives divine direction.
4). Prayer helps you to locate the path of life ps.16:11. Note: Praying with the Word of God is most effective.
PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for the privileged to know Him and how He has been with you and your family. Ask God for the grace to pray always. Pray for the grace to discipline yourself to study the Word of God for effective prayer. Pray that Christlike Assembly family will not faint. We continue to prayer without ceasing. Pray that the grace of God will multiply upon the life of His servant Pst Mrs. Christianah Odunayo Omotayo Joshua Ketiku continually. Pray that the strength of the Lord shall be her strength in Jesus name. Thank God for answered prayers.
