TEXT:
Prov.11.30 – “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”
A soul winner is someone that preaches or propagates the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with a view to winning a soul that loves God. This is our month of protection. In the book of Luke chapter 10, Jesus sent seventy out His disciples for evangelism. In verse 17, they returned with joy because the devils were subject to them. In Luke verse 19, Jesus told them "And I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you." (NLT). For our protection, Jesus gave us this grace of evangelism. Other benefits of soul winning are;
1). Signs and Wonders will follow you.
2). God will reward you in time (present world and in eternity)
3). It brings joy, gladness, and fulfilment to your heart.
4). Many souls will be added to the church which will cause growth in the church Acts 5:14
5). It gives you rest. Acts 9:31
Note: for you to be a soul winner: You must give your life to Christ genuinely. You can't give what you don't have. You must be fervent in the Word of God. 1Cor.9.16(Read please) And Finally, Be prayerful.PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for the person who brought you to Christ. Thank God for the salvation of your soul. Thank Him for what He has done for you and your family. Heavenly Father, give me the grace and boldness and power to speak Your Word. Lord, empower Your servant Pst. Mrs. Christianah Odunayo Ketiku and give her the grace to preach the gospel of the Lord with signs and wonders. Thank God for answered prayers
