Devotional for: 8th May
TEXT: Ps.46.1
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”.
Refuge means a place of shelter or protection from danger or distress. News of one tragedy or the other from News Media on daily basis Confirms the Words of Jesus in Matt 6:34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today”. Nowhere is safe except God provides Refuge from every trouble. God provides Refuge for His own through His Word. His Word is The Carriage of His Power. If you want His Security, find it out in His Word, obey it and Claim it in the place of Prayers.
FOR YOU TO FIND REFUGE IN HIM:
1) You must give your life to Christ Matt 11:28.
2) Put your trust in Him for your protection.
3) Confess it all the time that He is your Refuge and believe it. Be obedience to His Instructions in His Word.
PRAYER POINTS
Thank God for your salvation and for His protection over your life and your family Ps.9:9. God always be the refuge of every Christ like family. Jesus, I run Into You as my refuge throughout this year. Lord Your servant Pst (Mrs.) Odunayo Omotayo Joshua Ketiku and her children find refuge in You all the days of their life.
