“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever”. (KJV)
An anchor is designed to provide stability or security. Therefore, looking at Jesus as anchor implies that our relationship with Jesus comes first. It is more important than anything else. Whatever we do should be influenced by our relationship with Him. Your service for Him without relationship will get you nowhere. For crying out loud, how do you claim to trust Him without relationship. How on Earth do you have relationship with Him without Obedience? Do you know, experiencing His miracle does not mean a good relationship with Him! But He gave you the miracle so that you may believe in Him and answer to His relationship. Please examine yourself whether you are still in the faith or not. It is a test of relationship. Alas! Church services are designed to bring you into relationship and compliment that relationship. Matt.15:8 “These people make a big show of saying the right thing, but their heart isn’t in it. They act like they’re worshiping me, but they don’t mean it. They just use me as a cover” (MSB). These are lives without genuine relationship with Jesus. Relationship is the bed-rock of your faith and it must be from your heart. That was how our master Jesus did it when He was here on Earth. He is our good example He is our anchor. He will never fail. Hook on to Him and remain hooked.
PRAYER POINTS .
Thank You Lord Jesus that You are my anchor that never fails. Holy Spirit oil my relationship with Jesus in every area of friction. Save me from trading my relationship with you for anything. Lead me to give what it takes to have and maintain strong relationship with the Lord. Give more stability to Christlike Assembly in righteousness, obedience, power and glory in Jesus Christ. Lord enable Your servant to always go for You this month.
